Time has been Flying

We're still working on the legal documents for the space.

1.  I'm considering using my garage 5 car garage(3 useable as shop space) to suppliment the space we're sharing in town.

2.  I'm  Planning to heading up to the http://hackerspaces.org/wiki/Hackerspaces_Meetup

3.  We need to get a day/time scheduled to meet at the space to start getting some projects lined up and plans done for the membership, etc.

I had a successful meeting with my attorney

Plans are looking good.

I've talked to a Colleague who has a Thermal Camera, he seems willing to come out with the camera one day, not sure what to do, but it should be fun.

I found out XgizmoX, is now local, co-founder of http://www.denhac.org/.  We're doing lunch today.

Stay tuned for the 1st meeting.

Welcome to the Indiantown Hacker Space HAK-IT!

After noticing there was no real place for geeks to hang out north of the Miami area and south of Tampa.

If you're interested in Joining or checking it out or whatever, drop me a line tkrabec -- gmail.  We've got some space, we're going to be sharing with another local non-profit (just forming as well) The Bicycle Exchange.

Some initial projects are:

LED Bike lights.

Virturalization (Vmware, Xen, etc)

Form a corporation/Non-profit
